How to authorize account and add wallet addresses
In this instruction you will find information on how to:

Step 1

Go to gmt.io and click the Sign up button.

Step 2

Enter your data and complete the signing up by entering the confirmation code from your email.

Step 3

The next step is to enter your GMT address. There are 3 ways to do it:
Way 1: Enter the address by linking your personal account with the MetaMask wallet (ERC-20/BEP-20)
Way 2: Enter the address by linking your personal account with your wallet using the «Wallet Connect» function (ERC-20/BEP-20)
Way 3: Enter the address manually (ERC-20/BEP-20)
If you don't already have a suitable address, you can create one by following the instructions for registering a wallet.

Example of using MetaMask

MetaMask is an extension for the Chrome browser that is only available when connected via computer.
Download the MetaMask Chrome extension. Click «MetaMask» when choosing a connection method. The MetaMask extension window will automatically open in your browser.
Select the address you’d like to link to your GMT account. Click «Next».
Allow viewing the active addresses and click «Connect».
Click «Sign».
Your personal account on the GMT website will be automatically updated. The addresses of all attached wallets will appear in the «Wallet» page. Added GMT address will be verified automatically.

Example of using WalletConnect

With this way of adding the GMT address, we recommend you to use a computer, because then you will need to scan the QR code with your phone.
Here is an example of how you can add a token address via WalletConnect if you use a Trust Wallet.
Download the Trust Wallet app to your mobile phone. If necessary, read the instructions on how to enter the application. When choosing a linking method, click «Wallet Connect».
Open the Trust Wallet app on your phone.
Click «Settings» from the menu at the bottom of the screen of the app, select the «Wallet Connect» option. Then click «New Connection» and scan the QR code that appears on the computers screen.
Click «Connect» and select «Confirm».
Your personal account on the GMT website will be automatically updated. The addresses of all attached wallets will appear on the «Wallet» page. Added GMT address will be verified automatically.

Example of using the Manual method

Here is an example of how you can add a token address manually if you use a Trust Wallet. With the manual method, you will need to select the appropriate token standard: ERC-20 or BEP-20.
Open the “Trust Wallet” app. “Trust Wallet” which ready for working with GMT looks like the image below.
Let's copy the GMT address in the selected standart (ERC-20 or BEP-20). Click on the token icon.
Click on the "Recieve" button. Then click on the “Copy” button.
Go to gmt.io to finish authorization. Enter the address where your GMTs will be kept, which you have copied.
Well done, your wallets are linked to the account on the standart you originally selected. In this case, it is the ERC-20 network as shown earlier. See if your GMT address is verified.
If your GMT address does not have tokens yet, the verification will happen automatically.
If you already have GMT tokens, you need to complete a transaction for verification and confirmation of wallet ownership.

Step 4

The next step is to enter the BTC-address. Go to the Wallet section and tap "+ Bitcoin address".

Example of adding the BTC-address

Here is an example of how you can add the BTC-address if you use a Trust Wallet.
Open the “Trust Wallet” app to copy the BTC address. To copy the BTC-address click on the Bitcoin icon.
Then click on the “Recieve” button.
Click on the “Copy” button.
Go to gmt.io to finish authorization. Enter the BTC-address you copied to receive daily mining rewards.

Step 5

You have completed the registration! Starting the next day after purchasing GMT, you will receive rewards in Bitcoins.
Similar to ERC-20, you can add a GMT address using the BEP-20 standart. To do this, click “+ Add wallet” below the current GMT address.
